When will LeBron James be able to play?
NBA legend and Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar predicts LeBron James will be able as soon as next week.
The Hall of Fame member told USA Today Sports that the 6-foot-11, 215-pound forward is ready to compete in the NBA this season.
“If I have to put a time on it, I think he’s ready for next week,” Abdul-Barr said.
The 30-year-old James is averaging 21.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season, helping the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Miami Heat 105-98 on Friday.
James has been sidelined since February because of back spasms, but has returned to practice during the month of March.
James is currently the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, but there’s no guarantee he’ll be drafted.
He will likely be selected in the second round.
