When will the final lottery ticket be sent to my home post mortem
Posted by The Times of Trenton on Tuesday, November 06, 2017 11:14:30 New Jersey lottery winners are getting their final lottery tickets sent to their homes for post-mortems.
The state lottery’s lottery offices said on Tuesday that lottery officials will begin sending out the final prizes to home-based funeral homes and other service providers.
The New Jersey Lottery has not issued a public announcement on the lottery’s process for sending out lottery prizes.
Officials say they hope to receive the final tickets in the coming days.
The lottery has posted about 300,000 lottery tickets so far this year.
The lottery was created in 1888 to provide money for funeral expenses for deceased people.
The winning ticket can be used to help pay for funeral costs.
The Times of New Jersey first reported on the post mortems being held for lottery winners on Wednesday.
