NHL teams set to add players to NHLPA roster
The NHL has announced that it is adding three new players to its roster: forward Michael McLeod, defenseman John Moore and goalie Michael Peca.
All three are eligible to play in the NHL, according to the NHL.
Moore and McLeod are expected to make the NHL roster in the near future.
McLeod is coming off a season in which he led the league in assists and goals for and ranked second in points, while posting career highs in goals (36), assists (38), and points (50).
The 21-year-old was also the league’s top scorer with 29 goals.
Moore has played in all 82 games for the Boston Bruins this season, and is tied for the league lead with 20 goals.
Moore was the league MVP in 2016-17, and the top scorer in the Eastern Conference in 2015-16, while his 27 goals and 58 points were tied for second-most in the league.
Peca played in 80 games for Philadelphia and has a goal and four assists in his career.
